This site makes extensive use of JavaScript animation and semi-transparent PNG images. Unfortunately, in the world of browser
compatibility issues there is a whole lot more going on behind the scenes.
Not wanting to labour the point, users of certain older web browsers will have a noticibly reduced experience.
IE 6 cannot handle transparent PNG graphics natively (among other things), and especially cannot handle them when they are moving
around. IE8 supposedly can, but baby, it cannot. Firefox <3.5 has some garbage collection
clunkiness. FF3.6+ supposedly has improved garbage collection, and so on. Users of Safari and especially Chrome will sweep
the pool with both standards compliance and fast, seamless garbage collection. Except Chrome and Safari had their own special problems
